Express Employment Professionals offices across Southwestern Florida have announced their inaugural “Job-A-Thon” event set for August 24th between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
The “Job-A-Thon,” scheduled for Tuesday, August 24th, will allow job seekers to call their local Express offices anytime during the 12-hour event (between 8 AM to 8 PM) to speak with a recruiter about their skills and interests and explore local employment opportunities.
The Pasco Hernando Express office is gearing up for the Job-A-Thon, hoping to connect with as many job seekers as possible and then connect them with local companies.
Here’s how it will work:
When the job seeker calls in, an Express staff member will conduct an initial 15-minute phone interview, working through the caller’s work history, learning what they’re looking for, and then talking about the many local job opportunities within various industries. Finally, the Express staff will walk the caller through the next steps to move forward.
