CONGRATS to Ed Fry

– the 2022 FLATE Distinguished Manufacturing Secondary Educator of the Year!

H. Edward Fry II, Instructor of Engineering & Manufacturing at Nature Coast Technical High School in Brooksville, will receive the Distinguished Manufacturing Secondary Educator-of-the-Year Award from Florida Advanced Technical Education Center (FLATE) later this summer.

The FLATE Distinguished Manufacturing Secondary Educator of the year award recognizes a high school educator for outstanding contributions to manufacturing and/or engineering technology education. Recipients of this award must have made significant contributions toward innovative, unique, and novel programs and have shown a professional commitment to the manufacturing industry. 

Ed Fry will be recognized at the Florida Association for Career and Technical Education (FACTE) Annual Conference & Trade Show, July 18-20, 2022, at the Sawgrass Marriott in Ponte Vedra Beach, and at the 2022 MakeMore Manufacturing Summit on October 13th.
