Mike Aller
Proven leader and economic policy expert with twenty years’ experience in advanced manufacturing and energy policy, supply chain optimization, entrepreneurship, technology-based economic development and economic research and consulting.

Demonstrated expertise in non-profit management, entrepreneurship and technology-based economic development while growing Florida’s clean energy and aerospace “innovation ecosystem” as founding executive director of Energy Florida. Committed educator and advocate. Hands-on experience in public policy, banking and derivatives markets regulation as policy analyst at the White House Office of Management and Budget covering US banking and financial market regulation, and as researcher at the Brookings Institution and Peterson Institute for International Economics covering international economic and resource issues. Master’s degree in international economics and environmental policy, focused on natural resources, energy and derivatives trading across international markets. Proven analytical, organizational, and presentation skills as advisor to high-level policy makers, international organizations, and government agencies around the world. Demonstrated teamwork, leadership and dedication to goals as four-time US national team member in rowing. Bio David DeCarlo:

David DeCarlo has been appointed director of the Hernando County Department of Emergency Management. He has served in the post on an interim basis since February. Retired from the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, DeCarlo spent the last five years of his tenure there as Captain and Director of Emergency Management for Citrus County, FL, where he oversaw Emergency Operations.  He also conducted preliminary damage assessments, prepared public disaster recovery centers, assisted the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) with public and individual assistance, FEMA Smal Business Administration (SBA) loans, and State Disaster Unemployment Assistance. DeCarlo permanently assumes his post June 12, 2024. Link
